1. Overview & Core Purpose

PrimeCastCore Stock Sentinel ("Stock Sentinel", "the App", "we", "our") is an inventory risk visibility and low-stock alerting application designed exclusively for merchants using the Shopify platform. We are committed to protecting merchant data and maintaining strict privacy practices.

2. Information We Collect

Stock Sentinel collects only the minimal technical data required to monitor stock levels across store locations:

• Shopify Store Identifiers: Store domain (e.g., store.myshopify.com) and OAuth access tokens required to communicate securely with the Shopify Admin API.
• Inventory & Product Catalog Data: Product titles, variant titles, SKUs, inventory item identifiers, location names, and available quantity levels.
• Merchant Settings: Merchant-configured low-stock thresholds, notification preferences, and designated alert email recipient addresses.

We DO NOT collect or store Customer Personal Identifiable Information (PII). Stock Sentinel does not access, process, sell, or retain customer names, home addresses, phone numbers, payment details, or individual order histories.

3. How We Use Information

Collected inventory and location data is used strictly to:

• Classify inventory health into Out-of-Stock, Low-Stock, and Healthy statuses.
• Detect multi-location distribution imbalances across active fulfillment centers.
• Execute automated 15-minute background scans and dispatch email notifications to configured recipients when stock levels drop below thresholds.
• Provide aggregated inventory analytics in the merchant dashboard.

4. GDPR & Mandatory Shopify Compliance

Stock Sentinel fully adheres to Shopify's Mandatory Privacy and GDPR Webhook requirements:

• Customers Data Request (customers/data_request): Acknowledged automatically. Since no customer data is retained, no customer PII is exported.
• Customers Redact (customers/redact): Acknowledged automatically without data modification requirements.
• Shop Redact (shop/redact): Automatically purges all stored session, threshold, snapshot, and alert records within 48 hours of app uninstallation.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Merchant settings, inventory snapshots, and alert logs are retained solely for the active duration of the app installation. Upon receiving an app/uninstalled webhook from Shopify, all database records associated with the merchant store are permanently and atomically deleted from our persistent storage.
